Sherri Cook, CMP, CMM, CTM, CL is President/CEO of Sherri Cook & Associates. As a Meeting, Convention, Trade Show and Event Consultant, Planner and Project Manager, Sherri has a 30+ year proven track record in all facets of planning including project manager of Ross Perot’s 1995 National Conference and 1996 Reform Party National Conventions, many Fortune 500 Companies and Associations. She is a Certified Meeting Manager, Certified Meeting Professional, Competent Toastmaster, Competent Leader, Certified Convention and Trade Show Manager and Certified Tour Director. Sherri was named Meeting Professionals International’s (MPI’s) first "Tomorrow’s Leader of MPI", an organization now over 24,000 members worldwide and D/FW MPI’s "Planner of the Year", included in Who’s Who Worldwide Registry and Lexington’s Who’s Who for many years. She has served 4 terms on the MPI D/FW Chapter Board of Directors currently 1,000 members. She specializes in negotiation and is considered an expert planner speaking on many industry topics, educating and working with clients, meeting planners and suppliers as a meeting planning coach as well as designing meeting planning and trade show curriculum for Richland College’s 2-year accredited Travel and Tourism program.
