Being in business sets people apart from most ordinary people and the Small Business Community is dedicated to helping others understand that running a business is an obtainable goal and that everyone should try their best at living their dreams.
The Small Business Community recognizes and awards business owners because they often do not receive the recognition they deserve. Business owners are role models for everyone whether they know it or not. Small Business Community 2018 Best of Business Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.
“I am currently the president and patent holder for the Armored Closet Tornado Shelter company. We design, manufacture and sell safe rooms that can be installed in any closet in any home.
On February 9, 2018, my 72nd birthday, I decided to renew my interest in bronze sculpture. Twenty-five years earlier, I created three sculptures and then set them aside. So in the first two months,
I produced two works titled "The Listener"
and "Court Jester." These creations set my hands in motion.
In the third month, God inspired a representation of Scripture from 1 Thessalonians 4: 16,17. I call it the "Trumpet Call." It is a symbol of the Lord’s soon return at the rapture. Then God gave me an urge to create a larger work with an angel as the subject. I went to my Bible and opened the Book of Revelation and began reading chapter 12: "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon." My spirit leaped within me.
In that moment, God elevated my spirit to a new level — I was soon creating something far beyond my reach. On May 15, 2018, I began the work called "Satan’s Fall." On July 25, 2018, I finished the work and surrendered the master to my Dallas foundry. It is my desire to see this inspired work of art impacting the lives of believers around the world. Please contact me at www.SatansFall.com if you have an interest in viewing the "Magiera Collection."”
