Being in business sets people apart from most ordinary people and the Small Business Community is dedicated to helping others understand that running a business is an obtainable goal and that everyone should try their best at living their dreams.
The Small Business Community recognizes and awards business owners because they often do not receive the recognition they deserve. Business owners are role models for everyone whether they know it or not. Small Business Community 2018 Best of Business Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.
Aaron Peterson has been in the training and education business for over 17 years. During that time Aaron has seen many challenges and successes along the way. In 2000 Aaron and his partners started and Education Company called Prosper and grew it to a Multi Million dollar company. In 2005 they were named Entrepreneur of the Year for marketing services in the state of Utah. In 2009 Aaron was recognized by Utah Business Magazine as a top 40 under 40 business owners. Over those years, Aaron saw the need to help individuals identify and remove self-limiting beliefs through customized education. Aaron knew that the most powerful transformation that could take place for any individual was that transformation of the mind and helps those awaken their greatness. That idea was the genesis for the company Aaron founded in 2013 Aaron called Achieve Today, a Personal Development/High Performance training company. Achieve Today was recently recognized in September 2017 by Deseret News as the 2nd best company to work for in all of Utah out of 58 companies based off of Glassdoor Ratings. That was the 4th year in the row. Aaron has believed in Personal Development and High Performance for as long as he can remember, and his passion for helping people has only grown. Aaron sits on the board of directors for Adoption.org and Slate, a full dev shop that builds software applications. Aaron is also currently the State Kids Director for USA Wrestling for the state of Idaho, and works to implement the personal development strategies into the youth’s lives. Personally, Aaron has been married for 18 years and has 5 adorable children (3 rowdy sons and 2 beautiful daughters). Of his 5 children, 3 of which are adopted. He loves to spend time with his family, fly fish, and watch people reach their potential.
